• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Use civil design software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, to create detailed and accurate design plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
• Prepare engineering drawings, site plans, and construction documents according to project specifications and standards.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data and information for design purposes.
• Perform calculations and analysis to ensure the feasibility and compliance of design solutions.
• Identify and address potential design issues or challenges, proposing alternative solutions when necessary.
• Ensure all designs and documentation meet regulatory and industry standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other design professionals, such as architects and structural engineers, to coordinate design elements and ensure project integration.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports, project proposals, and cost estimates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil design.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Adhere to project schedules and budgets, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Designer or similar role in civil engineering or architectural firms.
• Proficiency in civil design software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
• Familiarity with land development, site grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality design plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction processes and familiarity with construction documentation.
• Professional certification or licensure is a plus.
